Indian brave in bunny slippers, and other weird

Posted by Tabitha on July 27, 2003, at 21:06:01

impulses in the craft store.

I wandered thru the craft store for an hour or so, and got some odd stuff that just HAD to go together. In the doll aisle, I got this 15 inch 'native american man' doll. His features are totally caucasian, but he's brownish and has long luxurious black hair, a suede-like loincloth, and a kit to make beaded jewelry. He now sports a pair of bunny slippers, also from the doll aisle. He's dreamy.

Also got... a porcelain doll head and hands, which I'm going to hot-glue to my dashboard, with some embellishments, to create a dashboard angel.

Also... a couple plastic mask forms, and lots of sparkly stuff to decorate them. Glitter glue, rhinestones, and sparkle pipecleaners for hair. And tiny green pompoms.

I really wanted to find a classic paint-by-numbers kit. You know, with little oil paints in a tray. Something like the last supper, or the old fisherman. I could add googly eyes to it. But drat, they didn't have any.
