I used to post under my dog's name as well ("Valentine_Dog") on another board.

I found her on Valentine's day six or seven years ago, shivering by the side of the road (probably looking for the stinker that dumped her there). We call her Val to save breath on syllables.

I felt honored to "bring" her to the internet (since she so faithfully stays by my side in her little bed while I spend hours on the computer).

My little "baby" is part Beagle and probably part Retriever.

Pat, I love Boxers (I've had two in the past) and I would love to see your dog's butt (and head). There's no other dog that turns my head like a Boxer. Just yesterday my husband ran down here to tell me a Boxer won some award on a dog show.

Have you seen "Best in Show?"

Oh how I love that movie . . . every time I watch it I find some new catch phrase to add to my vernacular.

On another note, thanks for your input on the aging subject. I just realized I hadn't replied. It sounds like you are in a peaceful place with all of it and it gives me hope that my day will come as well!
