How are you doing?
You've been on the same medication treadmill I have been.
I'm on wellbutrin, as well as a thyroid replacement Cytomel.
My worst problem is intense anxiety. I take ativan, but won't take more than 2mgs per day, and when I'm having a bad cycle it does nothing.My pdoc recommended Zyprexa, its actually for Psychosis, but in small doses it can work for anxiety.
for me it worked even better than benzo's, and apparently on some it does have an anti-depressant affect and is known as being a good mood stabilizers.
It made me feel like I was wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket..very comforting.
My problem in the past with mood stabilizers such as Topomax, was that they stabilized my mood,
at "depressed" I couldn't tolerate that.
so far I haven't had the problem with zyprexa
But its early yet.Are you an anxious type?
