Hi,
My impression was that he was speaking to his Mom, I don't know why- just a feeling. Did you see the episode where there was a potential suspect with bipolar disorder- he was 'punning' and the detective was keeping right up with him- a very difficult task I'm told by my shrink when I exhibit it- while my shrink will speed up his rate of speech and joke he can't do the rhyming and alliteration that I do when manic. So I guess my point was since he could, I made the conclusion he had bipolar disorder (and he did mention he had lots of experience). I hope they do come back to that story line, I think with the success that ER had they may. take care, judy
