You've really got to admire a guy who sets it up so that his ideas can never be challenged.

Perhaps in your complaint you should stay away from emotional appeals such as how much these comments hurt and instead try to attack it on other grounds. How opinions like that guarantee that treatment won't be effective or something along those lines. Or perhaps that comments about vampires and hedgehogs are just his own personal emotional reactions and that they make rational discussion difficult.
