The movie is called "Focus", I think, and I agree...it was a GREAT movie...I still remember him as "Eddie" in the Rocky Horror Picture Show..this is how I think of Meatloaf..lol...those times.....

> Actually, he's not so little--or so fat anymore. He was in an excellent movie starring William H. Macy and Laura Dern about anti-Semitism in the '50s after the war (can't remember the title--aargh!). He's a very good actor.

The odd thing is, I never really listened to this kind of music growing up..I mean, I heard the songs on the radio now and again, but was never really into "rock"...it wasn't until my 20s that I purchased the album and really listened to it all..and this is how I hear it..from the beginning to the end....it seems so brilliant right through..(you know how some albums, you like 2 or 3 songs????)

> I'm wondering if it's nostalgia you're experiencing. Sometimes we associate these songs with particularly good times of our lives.

Every song seems to kick ass for me...it goes from one thing to another...every emotion...maybe this is why it works for me...brings it all out and gives me the energy I lack???

> "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is certainly a rock anthem (as opposed to a classic). There's no reason really to wonder why it kicks ass for you, know what I mean?
