I believe, it may well be, that such love is just that little bit that keeps many of us here.
Which brings me to this: Why do we not share love as freely as we do anger? Why do we delve it out as if it were some limited commodity, reserved for only the dearest and closest?
Have you never seen the glow in the eyes of an otherwise hopeless person when you have provided what to you may seem such a trivial nicety? An open door, a casual smile an empathetic tear?
How easy it is to tear down each other with calous, hateful words (that we might not even really mean) than to provide them with even marginal affirmation?
