Hi beardy,

I just got back from two baby baptisms in a Catholic church service. First time in a Catholic church. Many of my friends over the years have been Catholics, but I know diddlysquat about their religion, etc. I live in what one might call an efficient WASP nest. My parents never had any religious affiliations or requirements on us as we grew up-thank God! When it comes to "rating" religous institutions I go by music only. I liked Steinbeck's "Travels with Charlie" when he describes a Baptist church service. The best live church music I have heard was in a Promised Land, Arkansas Baptist Church service for my grandmother's funeral back in 1974.
