Emma, I feel like a butterfly. In the rain & gloom, it hides away. When the sun comes out, it flits from flower to flower. What a thing to tell people "hi! I've got the mentality of a butterfly!"
But I do. It's the long days & sun-filled ones (even though I hate hot weather) that do so much to make me feel good. As the years have gone by, I notice I'm becoming even more polarised in my response to day length & brightness. I still think bears have the right plan & humans have it all wrong.
