My first pdoc had me on all kinds of drugs which helped with my anxiety but eventually zombified
me and put on the poundage. I don't know how many fricking pills I was taking every day. A lot.

The guy I'm seeing now took me off all that stuff
and now I am taking just Seroquel. I didn't want to take it because it's an anti-psychotic, and I didn't consider myself to be psychotic. Moody, oh yes, Lord I would cry at the drop of a hat, and stay up all night worrying about everything under the sun.

I am much, much better now. Maybe Seroquel isn't right for you but it might be worth asking your doctor about.I started sleeping better almost
right away and my mood stabalized gradually without the flat, burned-out feeling I experienced with the other medication. I must say that it did make me very tired at first, so much so that I almost stopped taking it. But I stuck with it and eventually I adjusted to the dosage.
I cannot tell you how much this drug has helped me. The mood swings, the crying, the insomnia, the general feeling of "craziness" are all gone.
Maybe it could help you too.
Good luck-
Gracie
