Dear P.L.,Medication is OFTEN talked about on this board, it is not banned from discussion per se. But if you have a direct question about medication, and want some friendly advice, you can go to the other half of this board and ask, you'll receive more direct answers on plain PsychoBabble. Also, if you've never read any posts on that board, you should, it's incredibly informative. You can do searches for other meds you might want to know more about. And there is almost always one discussion going on about Effexor over there, sometimes two or three. It is one of those drugs that people love to talk about, because it has such different effects on each person, kind of amazing.
So anyway, don't NOT talk about your meds on this board, it's part of the mix, you can't talk about how you're feeling without mentioning your meds from time to time. They have such an enormous impact on how we're doing, or they give us side effects that we just have to rant about, and that kind of thing is fine over here...
