i once spent 2 hours trying to kill myself by carbon monoxide poisoning. the entire 2 hours i was thoroughly agitated (coming down off an acid trip) but happy (really thinking I'd die a peaceful death).

sometimes i feel so far away from humanity that i cant figure out if it matters or not. Those who want to live, even just a little, Should. Those who do not completely have the right to die, in my opinion. Some people are so stricken with mental illness/physical ailments so horrible that its not worth it to live it out. I dont want to sound nihilistic or pessimistic, but there are people out there who have it BAD, worse than us, ppeople who can't even muster the strength to post. I believe that if there's even a doubt in your mind, you should get help. Objectively (and I know this is not "supportive") I do not think that suicide is sinful or an unreasonable option...it's just an EXTREMELY EXTREME DECISION, YO! Others are optimists and overcome--i think it depends on the nature, the spirit.

My own opinion is that before you try suicide, you should try everything else--psychiatric drugs, illegal drugs, pyschiatric hospitals, religion, college, travel--anything, try everything and see if you can strike upon anything you like.

in my own humble opinion though, i think that suicide is a wholly personal and rational topic.

i believe it is a private matter. a serious matter. a media-exagerrated matter.

it is a personal choice.

it is a personal choice that you can be helped out of, it's a choice that maybe you'll not consider again...consider it for awhile, i don' think that;s harmful...discuss it with your doc, write about it, get it out of yr system...why do you want to die? what is hurting you so much?
