I've been thinking a lot about the whole thing
as well. It's just so sad all the way around.
I'm afraid of comments like you heard AKC and
all the other cruel, misunderstood remarks people
make about people with depression. The radio talk
show hosts are having a field day with it, and the
underlying tone is that she is using the "mentally
ill" thing as an excuse, when the truth is, according
to their opinions, is that she's really just a
rotten person. Ugh. It just makes me hurt. And
it makes me sad what sorts of things this disease
can bring one to.
I don't really know what to say about it except that
I've been thinking a lot about it and it makes me
really concerned/sad. I'm glad it came up on this
board so it can be discussed by the intelligent,
kind people that tend to post here.
