I've stopped watching the news years ago, because I couldn't emotionally handle the abuse that I saw of children. When the teenage mother drowned her two sweet boys. If she didn't get the death sentence this mother who is ill clearly will not.
After the birth of her fourth child she suffered from post-partum depression. It was treated with medication and cleared up. After the birth of her youngest and fifth child it reaccured, but was more severe. The couple had discussed there plans of having more children and deciced to put it on hold indefinetly.
I think it was yesterday she called her husband at work to come home. He did and the police were there. She had drowned all the children in the bathtub.
Her husband talked about the illness, saying that it was not his wife who killed the children. He was clearly distraught. Some of those reporters which were questioning him should be shot.
A forensic pyshciatrist was talking about sleep deprivation, support, having five young children under the age of seven and she was home schooling. My heart just goes out to the whole family.
Was it Mother Theresa who said it takes a whole community to raise a child?
Ignorance will cause fear.
Well I have to go eat, will be back tonight. Please everyone lets not put a black cloud over us. Maria Osmond was talking about this form of depression. Hopefully health care providers and families will become more educated and supportful.
