Hellerwork?

Posted by mars on January 8, 2001, at 21:31:23

Hiya:

Anyone have any knowledge/experience/advice/feedback about hellerwork for treatment-resistant depression? I am and have been on meds for many years, but I have been steadily getting worse during the last five years.

I've really exhausted traditional talk therapy approaches - one on one, group, hospitalization, etc. - and am thinking about something more along the lines of "the laying on of hands." It would be difficult for me - a major source of my pain, I think, is from problem accepting being my body, simply "being here."

One thing I am somewhat concerned about is a lot of alternative therapies have a spirituality-based approach, which I seem to have problems with.

Thanks mucho,

mary
