yes, i have issues of privacy where i am. mostly because it isn't soundproof, as you say, and because sometimes i want to / need to process things (or sometimes just vent) which wouldn't be so useful for people around me to hear...

one option would be to take it elsewhere... sometimes public can be most private. or if not private, exactly, anonymous. that can still be tricky, though...

how is your typing?

i have 'chatted' to friends via skype where mostly we were typing messages to each other. because i couldn't speak freely. that actually worked okay. but i type as fast as i think (or faster sometimes, i swears).
