It is very painful for you because you are encountering grief. Grief is a very painful experience. I am sorry you lost your parents and your friend went away though. Like you, I had a much closer relationship with my T who has retired than my parents or siblings. I have longed for her. To look at her, feel her patting me on the back telling me I am doing good, her smile. I miss her and like you am still grief stricken we are no longer together.
