I had a therapist in Boston who charged $120-$160/hr. depending on what I could pay. This was some years ago, like 1999, but I don't think her fees have gone up much since then. She was a PhD.

I now have a therapist in the Boston area - an MD psychiatrist who does psychotherapy, humanistic/existential - and he charges twice that.
