I go to my T through my husband's work. They provide a service that covers short-term counselling...6 - 8 sessions.
But you can call again for whatever is coming up in your life. Unfortunately my life seems to keep providing me with new things to see her for!
When I first went to her, I asked about the 6 - 8 sessions & how would I know when they were ending etc. She said that she'd tell me the next-to-last appointment. She said that all that office-type stuff was for her to be concerned about & that was her job & she didn't want me to be worrying about it.
