Sounds sort of physical. Have you been checked for seizures? A neurology consult might be in order.
Or... have you had any meds changes lately? I had the most interesting temporal lobe experiences when I went off Luvox, Klonopin, and Depakote all at once. I don't know which was the culprit.
If all those things check out, you might see if your pdoc thinks adding a medication might be helpful?
