Yes, when I can do that, that does help. Thanks for reminding me to try that! I figured out a lot of why she's so sad, and I'll talk about it with my therapist the next time I see him. Part of the sadness is just a lot of memories getting triggered right now, and it's hard to avoid the triggers because they seem to be everywhere right now, even in the smell of the air or the quality of the light... Oh well. I am managing, and even though the weather is triggering, it's also nice to be able to read outside and get a change of scenery.
