> Yea, I know what you mean. My Counselor doesn't remind me of anybody else either. I just have a very intense crush on her. So my defintion of transference is usually something along the lines of the same as the freudian defintion without the person reminding me of someone I knew from my past. What do you think? Should I tell her or not?

Hmmmm, I guess it all depends on a lot of things......What kind of a relationship do you have with her? Do you trust her? Do you feel she will handle what you tell her with sensitivity?

Unfortunately for me, my t is in love with me, but chooses to not do anything about it. It is excruciating, but as I told him: "I would rather be in pain WITH you than in pain WITHOUT you....we attended the same conference in hawaii last week; I talked to him on the phone but didn't see him (he saw me walking out of a session, but was too far away to say hello)....

T's are used to clients having crushes, etc......you are the only one who can decide whether to tell her not. Let me know!

Sassy

P.S. I belong to "A Most Heartbreaking Love"---support for people in love with their t's.....It's a yahoo group.
