Widget,
Thanks for the compliments but just for the record, I'm not nearly together as I sound. I'm in the thick of struggling with this. Monday morning I had a session with my T, ended up calling him that evening, my husband and I went back to see him the next night and then I had to call him after that session to tell him how angry I am with him that I have to leave at the end of my therapy sessions. I've spent the last 24 hours crying and thinking about quitting therapy. On an intellectual level I get why this is happening but its messy and chaotic getting through it. And painful. But if my past experience is any guide, staying and enduring the pain and messiness gets you to the other side where things are a lot clearer. I just didn't want you thinking that I was sitting at some detached place with all the answers. I'm a mess! : )
As for talking to your therapist about your anger, I think it would be a good idea. Anything that happens between you provides an opportunity for you to see how you operate and can help you. Your psychiatrist should be able to handle your feelings of anger as well as your feelings of attraction. Hang in, I know this is tough.
