combining CBT with other therapies

Posted by philyra on June 28, 2007, at 19:58:09

i'd be really interested to hear from anyone who has combined CBT techniques with other interpersonal kinds of therapy. i've gone from using a deep kind of transpersonal model to CBT recently, and i really like how they are working well together. i know there are various CBT exercises out there, but i have a pretty limited range at the moment - just a worry/anxiety tracking sheet my T gave me. if anybody else has suggestions for exercises you do on your own esp. around anxiety & depression, i would really appreciate it. and if you have any thoughts on adapting CBT techniques to integral therapy or transpersonal therapy, i would really love to hear about it.

take care,
philyra
