Tamar,
I hope you can find out some of the reasons why T hasnt been there for you. some of it is reasonable expectations about professional behavior. some of it is reasonable expectations to be respected and taken seriously by our Ts. Some of it is expectations to be unconditionally cared for by our primary caregivers. Some of it is expectations from past and imagined relationships.

sorting it all out is a big tangle. if your T is not *there* for you to help you sort it out, it might be up to you to untangle and wind up things on your own.

it sounds so hard. i don{t like untying knots. peanut butter is supposed to help
