The other thing I meant to tell you is to be aware that:

- reading a book in your head,
- reading a book aloud to yourself, and
- having a book read to you by someone or a tape

are all very different experiences. I found it a lot more soothing to the young part to actually read aloud to it. To point out little beetles and things in the pictures. Just something to be aware of if you're trying this.
