Muffy, I think you're doing it!
You;re feeling your way to understanding this particular ikid, and getting what she's trying to tell you (even if not with words). Sounds like you're doing a good job, too.She's getting through to you, and that's the first, important step in helping her figure out what she and you need to do, and how to do it.
I sense a new tone in some of what you write lately. It's a good one, too.
