Sometimes when I yell at my kids and they get a hurt look on their faces, my heart just twists, and i hold them close.
Its nice that you a mom, and know how special our kids are, cuz it just reinforces how terribly evil/sick your mother was.
And its not just your mother, its the world. We live in a fallen world. We can only do our part to make our little part of it better. Raise up our kids as best we can. Try not to hurt others, and help when we can.
Thats why I will never give up. I want to help people here in Canada. Suffering is everywhere, but so is love and joy.
I do beleive in evil.

I am so sorry that you had to live with such evil as a little one.
