I mentioned to my therapist that Ms. Lott was on the Board this week and he had heard of the book but I'm not sure he has read it given the way he responded. The nuetral sort of "oh yes" when I mentioned the titled. I don't think I'd give him a copy to read for the same reasons GG gave. He is already pretty open about our relationship and obviously anticipates attachment issues. I wanted him to read "Undercurrents" after I read it. Instead he suggested I mark the passages that really struck me and we would read them together and talk about why. It worked really well, because that was essentially why I wanted him to read it, because I wanted to talk about it.

I think if you tell your therapist exactly what you wrote, it would be fine. If you just gave it to her, she might get the idea that you don't think she will be able to hear your feelings. Let us know how it goes.
