I'm almost 100% sure I have a BPD. It may be a milder case. I exhibit almost all the thought patterns and behaviours that go along with this dx. My p-doc told me about my dx after I'd been seeing her for about 2 yrs. I really like my p-doc...she is a rock for me, but I don't know if her approach is working with me. I cannot see her anymore after I stop being a student. I think I may grow out of it (BPD). My prognosis is good because I don't have a substance abuse problem.
