I think I'd do a lot of reading on the web to see if this diagnosis actually fits you. What makes her think you're BPD? What criteria fits you? Some doctors have admitted this is an unfortunate catch all for some female patients. If I got that diagnosis, and I didn't think it fit, I'd go to someone else. If you do think it fits, then stay and work with her if you like her and trust her, but have her give you a better understanding of why, and what you can accomplish in therapy, esp. what she can do, and how she can help you, and how she sees your prognosis.
