Not sure if that is true.. They cannot be our friends. Friends is mutual relationship - between equals where you know and have as much control over the relationship as the other person does. But therapy is not like that.. they know everything about us, and we don't know anything about them. It is naturally a non - equal relationship. It need not be authority/subservice kind of relationship, but it is unequal nevertheless.
