yep, in my "spare" time I'd rather be working with tools and equipment than whatever those things are "typical" women do

My observation here at Babble is that a good many of the women here have been more comfortable either in the company of guys since childhood, or doing things the WWII to Viet Nam era society considered "boy" or "man" things.

There are, of course, women here who more closely resemble that old societal "feminine" lady, but communicating in this environment seems to remove some of the preconceived notions which occur meeting people in person, especially in one or the other's realm.

Thus far I have not had any problems communicating here, nor do I anticipate any.
