Wow. I really relate to your message Babbgal. My situation is a little different. Im a recent grad from university, and am currently doing a few interviews with potential employers. I am diagnosed with depression and anxiety/panic, and this has really gotten in the way of my performance during co-op/interships that I have had during my university years. I know that I have skills but for me, but I feel too scared to do anything. Too scared to move forward with my career to the point that I want to cancel excellent interview opportunities. Plus, my field is working with children/families... a job that forces you to constantly be positive. I feel shunned by my field because I am not always feeling so happy. Far from it. Im very intimidated by everything. Any strategies that have worked with you to deal with this overwhelming fear?
