Hi Dinah,
I don't think I'm a direct descendent of Joseph, and certainly you won't take my head if I get this wrong, so here goes.

I'm thinking that there might be a couple of different interpretations to your dream. Maybe they can coexist.

The little child in you used to wander your home. As she would go around the house, every corner, every piece of furniture was a wonderous marvelous place, much more interesting and manageable to the mind than was the entire room taken in all at once. Looking at your home from your adult eyes, you see perhaps ten rooms. Looking at that home as a child, that home is so much larger. It is two homes at once.
Perhaps that is why in your dreams, your home can seem normal and then so much larger, all at once.

As an adult, I look at the rooms not so much as finding the hidden places in your mind, but more how much larger your world becomes, as your mental health improves. It fills with opportunites that you couldn't take advantage of due to your limitations. It is your world opening up.

My two cents...

CAVEAT: This interpretation has been formulated with a brain that is obviously not functioning well at all. Thus the prophetess makes no warantee whatsoever as to it's accuracy. Should the dreamer wish to act on the statements in this interpretation, she assumes sole responsibility and risk for the outcome.

Sorry, but one must be safe, shouldn't she?

Dee.
