Oh, yuck. I get terrified in turbulence, too, and that sounds especially bad. Sorry, I have no advice. Although, once I sat next to a priest on a really turbulent flight, and he got out a rosary and I watched his fingers and said the prayers to myself as well. I'm not a practicing Catholic anymore, but it actually helped some.

I have a friend who always puts herself to sleep for flights. She doesn't take drugs. I don't know how she does it. But as soon as she's buckled in, she's out. She says she does it on purpose somehow, because she's terrified of the take off and landing.
