It would appear that he might be having some other troubles in his life. We had a big fight on the phone today and after I cancelled tomorrow's session then apologized, he apologized and said he had had a difficult morning.

And today I didn't mind that he was mad at me. Go figure. For one thing he was so completely and totally out of line that I felt that it couldn't possibly have been me. I kind of hate to go tomorrow though. I'll turn back into the little girl/client who can't bear to have her therapist/mommy mad at her, instead of the firebreathing self advocate I was today. :(
