Perhaps you can find one person who you can completely confide in. I know that you don't want to worry them, but keeping things completely hidden can often make them loom larger than they really are. Just speaking them outloud can take some of the terror or shame out of them. It is also often true that if people know that we aren't telling them everything that they imagine things that are worse than the truth. I hope that you can find someone to share with - I know that it eases my burden when I can.
