If you go into the hosp. under the dx. of depression there will be no problem. If you go in with both addiction and depression there might be a problem but I don't think so. Your records should be private and the reason you are in the hosp. should not be available to your employer. I would check this out with the disability dept. It isn't always that easy to get disability for depression/do you have a Dr. that will be admitting you? If a Dr. thinks you need to be admitted your ins. is more likely to pay. Let me know what you decide.
