I have major depression plus overuse of sleeping pills and after the holidays, I would like to check myself into a treatment center to get this under control. But it means taking a leave of absence from my work. I am a registered nurse but do phone triage, do not work with patients. And my depression or sleeping pill use has never interfered with my giving excellent patient care. Am I covered under Americans With Disablity Act or would I lose my job if they knew what was happening. I hate to lie but I know I need the treatment. Thanks
