Since you do have bipolar disorder, then at least you are familiar with what he's feeling. The problem sounds like he has schizophrenia, which generally doesn't go into remission like bipolar episodes. Yes the zyprexa dose was very low- but as you probably know it's very difficult to make someone take meds when they don't want to. I like the previous poster's idea of going to NAMI group support meetings because I think the key here is to keep you healthy and functioning so you're able to be there for him if he ever accepts he has a problem.
