Didn't mean to use the word cult » rayww

I made my last post a little too hastily. After I had made the post I regretted using the word "cult" in my post as this word did not properly describe the feelings that I experienced when reading the web site and I apologise if the use of this word caused anyone offence.

I agree that I am basically untrusting. I have participated in courses where very similar claims have been made as made in the WHH website only to be disappointed and discover that after the initial 2or3 free sessions that they really only wanted me to "invest" in the "advanced" courses at prices that I could very well not afford and then being subjected to extreme high pressure sales tactics and public humiliation when it became apparent that I was not going to hand my money over (The Public Humiliation was a nice touch considering that I had just opened my heart to a room full of strangers and talked about my social anxiety)

I am sorry but the claims made in the WHH website to me still seem to be too good to be true. Seeing these sorts of claims being made triggers memories of my above experience and brings up feelings of anger in me about such claims being made to vulnerable people who are desperate for a cure to their problems.

My post was intended as a warning to others not to expect too much from WHH so that they would avoid what I have gone through. Unfortunately I wrote my post while still feeling angry and the post came across more sarcastically than I had intended.

I am glad that your friend was able to be helped by the WHH techniques and I definitely will not condemn anyone who has successfully used the technique.
