they weren't letting seniors in the door. people who were retired.
they had security guards on the door and they came to believe their job was to force everybody without an appointement to leave.
but people can't make appointments. they spend hours on hold on the phone. the page won't make them an appointment.
and the keep the doors locked and have the guards talking by walkie talkie and they won't open the doors unless the guards give it okay.
and that is what it was like going to the local work and income office of dunedin.
for people to register for unemployment (nobody's unemployed in new zealand everybodies incapacitated from seeking unemployment aka disabled or they are a student aka getting themselves into increasing debt to the government in exchange for study programs they will never receive credit for / study programs that will not lead to paid jobs. they found out how to make the incapacitated people get into further debt to the government, too, by not giving them enough and making them borrow money from the government for things they need like phones to run the government application so they can even make an appointment or like clothes or like a fridge).
masses and masses and masses of people garbage human slaves who the government refuses to credit acknowledge treat as people.
many of them just turn to prostitution and crime. i guess that's part of the plan. no point earning hundreds upon thousands of dollars from the government if you don't get to spend it on underage sex and drugs -- right?
slum landlordism.
the government paying people thousands of dollars 'rent' each week to keep people in 'emergency housing' substandard accommodation.
