Yeah, okay.

I didn't use to like him. I thought he was a sanctimoneous smug...

It was only after watching season 1 of the apprentice that I changed my take on things.

Seeing how he was running the board-room. How he interacted with his advisors. The reason or rationale for the dismissals. The fact that people were dismissed.

The things he was conveyed as valuing. The strategies and tactics he thought were good and the things he tried to dissuade / discourage (e.g., taking out insurance to offer a cash prize).

I grew to respect him.

Which was, of course, the point to the show, no doubt. And there are many many many many more seasons of it. And he likely wasn't the writer and so on... The director even...

But before that... I really didn't like him at all. And I was inclined to screw up my fact and cringe at everything he said. And almost everything he said I found cringe-worthy. So... I guess I do remember feeling that way about him. Yeah.
