Hi!

No. I need a real sedative that will knock me down. Herbs like passiflora and valeriana will not do that.
> You asked about mirtazapine. I was on it for a year and am familiar its dose range from 2.5mg to 15mg. As accurate as I can tell, the norepinephrine stuff starts to come into play at about 7.5mg. It really doesn't get strong on NE until above 15mg though. Anyway, I found doses in the 2.5mg to 7.5mg to be knockout punches for sleep without any NE effect.
Ok. Mirtazapine might be my only choice afterall, because i can't find cyproheptadine where i live. :-(
I have tried Mianserin in the past and it was effective for me. So, Mirtazapine should be effective as well, as it was manufactured to replace Miamserin in the market.
