increasing zoloft dosage to 150 mg

Posted by Baracuda on May 6, 2008, at 22:08:04

so I had a new pdoc appt, my previous pdoc retired, and I was hesitant to go to a new one to adjust the meds, but after the bad allergic reactions on wellbutrin in addition to the zoloft, I knew i had to get professional pdoc help.

she is fantastic. she suggested increasing my dosage of 100 mg of zoloft to 150 mg, now on day 7 and when I was posting my updates on the wellbutrin here, it helped me alot in the assesment, plus thank you all for your feedback. the hair loss has slowed increasingly, I no longer have hair everywhere, and it does feel better to not have the hair on the pillowcase in the morning!

day 1 - felt good
day 2 - felt great
day 3 - felt ok
day 4 - missed full dosage, super bad day
day 5 - horrible day
day 6 - spent most of the day in bed
day 7 - nauseated, foggy, depressed.

pdoc dx's me with severe depression with Dysthymic something or other. I'm hoping to feel better soon. I gained 2 lbs this week at my weigh in, but that has to do with me feeling super bad and eating anything and everything under the sun in attempts to feel better. my last binge was sunday, back to normal on monday even tho feeling foggy. Today I had to force myself to eat dinner, feeling nauseated most of the day.
