what's good for hypoglycemia?

Posted by g_g_g_unit on June 19, 2014, at 10:33:58

I tend towards hypoglycemia as a rule, but it's suddenly become out-of-control the past week. I can't quite understand why. I was taking resistant starch, but dropped it thinking it might be a culprit .. and the symptoms have persisted.

In essence, I can't feel full and have the most awful cravings for sugar/carbs, in addition to feeling lightheaded, weak etc. Gorging on healthy fats (avocado, coconut oil etc.) or protein does nothing. The only other supplement I take is Niacin, which I'll stop to see if it's contributing. Oh, and I stared Sodium Butyrate 2 nights ago as a replacement for the starch.

Is there anything I could try supplementally that might help? I have some Chromium Picolinatem but have read mixed things about it helping/hurting hypoglycemia.

Thanks!
