Thank you for responding and for sharing your DL-phenylalanine experience with me. It of course is good that you noticed some benefits from the supplement, but too bad that they didn't last for very long.
I never did try phenylethylamine, but I have tried l-phenylalanine. It seemed to help my concentration and energy, but its effects seemed to disappear after about a week on the supplement. I just started a trial with regular niacin last night, so I'm not planning on adding any other supplements at the moment, but if I don't end up getting any lasting benefits from the niacin, I might give PEA a shot.
I'm not sure about the role that magnesium might have for DLPA/PEA and/or l-tyrosine. Maybe somebody else might know that.
