I tried 500mg DLPA Life Extension brand today along with B6 100mg and noticed some boost in my mood, energy, wakefulness. I was almost going to lay down but then 10 minutes after the dose something felt a bit different. There was also a greater sense of motivation. This appeared to last for about an hour or so. Not much longer but I did not feel like going to bed at least even beyond that initial period.
Then later today I took an additional 500mg without b6 and felt a similar boost. I don't think it worsened my anxiety much. I just wish the positive effects lasted longer.
If you come across any new information please post more as I will try to follow this topic. Or if you end up trying it. If you already have it I don't think it would hurt to try one dose.
I wonder what role Magnesium may have for DLPA/PEA and possibly L-Tyrosine. Does anyone know?

> I'm considering trying phenylethylamine for my chronic fatigue or vegetative depression, and I'm wondering what experiences others on this board have had with the supplement. I have tried countless supplements for my fatigue and related symptoms, many of which have only helped temporarily, so one of the things I'm wondering is how long the effects of PEA last for. One review that I read on a site that sells PEA indicated that the effects of the supplement only lasted for a few minutes. Has this been your experience, or did you notice some longer-lasting benefits from taking PEA?
