I've also posted on the medication board but I feel that the 7.5 may be too high a dose for some. I do think that Deplin has potential but in my case, I could not sleep at all when I took a 7.5 mg tablet. I also began to get numbness and burning sensations in my feet which I never experienced before. When I discontinued the Deplin after one week, the burning sensations gradually went away as well. It seems to me like there is a lot of pushing going on about Deplin from reps and people that work for/with the company. This makes me concerned. Also, perhaps because it is considered a medical food, it does not have to go through the standard safety testing from the FDA.
